“When women's needs are misinterpreted and ignored, their pain and needs are delegitimized. They are unseen, yet objectified. People have strong opinions about them, without really knowing them. This is a book that shines the spotlight on life as a woman in those dark corners where no one visits, and where loneliness and pain reside. Farida Ahmadi gives these unseen women a face, listens to their silent screams, and gives them a voice.”
