Erhard uses the problem of non-existence as the starting point for an analysis of Husserl’s phenomenology. He examines Husserl’s interpretation of judgments about non–being as judgments made “under assumption” and his analysis of “free fantasy.” Erhard thus demonstrates that Husserl is compatible with today’s non–relational theories.
