    Сначала меня смущала вымученность, но потом я узнала, что автор - журналистка, и это многое объясняет. Недостаток художественности. Просто другой метод: между репортажем и книгой.

    Особенно меня зацепила история Мэгги: даже взрослые сексуальные дети неприкосновенны; даже некрасивые женщины могут быть жертвами и заслуживают сочувствия и защиты.

    Человеческому существу, к сожалению, приходится прорастать через тонны дерьма. И каждый справляется как может. То есть, чаще всего получается коцанным. А порой и вовсе инвалидом.

    Для полной картины после этой книги хорошо бы прочитать «Мальчик - отец мужчины» Кона.
    Просто чтобы понимать, что насилие - не гендерная проблема. Это повсеместный трэш.
