After the last Great War, a billion years earlier, giant Corporations formed the Great Council. Each Corporation appointed a representative and kept the appointees identity secret. The autocratic Council ruled by decree and controlled every facet of life. They established their capitol on the mythical world of Eden in the city of Eridu.
Many people wanted to return to a government elected by the people.
The Voice beyond the light is the ruthless leader of a large opposition group dedicated to the overthrow of the ruling Council. His thirst for power is only exceeded by his greed and he will stop at nothing to succeed. His hidden identity begins to unravel when four game players in the three dimensional game ‘Hordex’ discover his game persona as the Golden Serpent. Eventually the Council’s Security Force discovers he is using the game for communications and dubs him the “Game Master.”
A champion, Michael, arises and is sought after by both the Great Council and the Game Master; putting him and his budding romance with Karen in great peril.
