An eleven-year old girl wrote a poem that would change her life (and career) forever, only she didn't realize it until her 30s, after the sudden loss of her childhood sweetheart: her husband. The various poems transcend time as they draw upon ageless subjects of love, loss, loneliness, persistence, change, and renewal.
