Love this book! We had to read this in 8th grade and, thinking about both this book and S.E. Hinton's "The Outsiders" It was an amazing year!

You could look at this as a guy with an addiction, losing himself to cocaine. Or you could see it as an expression of greed, desire, and a glimpse at our understanding of good and evil in human nature.

It’s a interesting book and a must to read! It’s a good book for people that like crime cases.

In the end, the actual nature of Hyde’s and Jekyll’s sins proves less important than Stevenson’s larger point, which is that the lure of the dark side constitutes a universal part of our human nature. We are all Jekylls, desperately trying to keep our Hydes under control—even as we are secretly fascinated by what they do and envious of their frightening freedom from moral constraints.
