Ann Keiffer

Ann Keiffer is an author, a poet, and an Interfaith Minister of the Arts. Following in the “wounded healer” tradition, Ann brings to her work the compassion and hard-won wisdom mined from her personal experience with major depression and living with a chronic disease. Ann grew up in a village in the heartland of Ohio. She graduated from Ashland University, where she was a member of the English Department Honors Seminar. She is also a graduate of The Chaplaincy Institute in Berkeley, California where she was ordained as an Interfaith Minister of the Arts. Though Ann has loved words all her life, it was some time before she named her passion and made writing her career. After her dizzying career spin in the bright lights of advertising, Ann turned her face toward the moon and her writing toward essays, books, and poetry that reflect on the spiritual journey that is life. Ann and her husband Larry live in Walnut Creek, California. Find Ann’s poetry at: annswordplay.wordpress.com
