Andrew Mikolajski

Andrew Mikolajski is a British gardening writer, horticulturalist, and speaker with over 20 years of experience. He is the author of more than 40 gardening books, including his most recent work, Who Ate My Plants (2024), which tackles the ever-present issue of garden pests head-on. A highly respected figure in the world of horticulture, Mikolajski also contributes to gardening magazines and the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) website.

Mikolajski launched his career teaching garden design and horticulture at Warwickshire College and the English Gardening School. He later became a renowned lecturer and speaker, delivering demonstrations to gardening clubs and appearing at RHS shows. He was a horticultural adviser for the RHS A–Z Encyclopedia of Garden Plants and the RHS Encyclopedia of Plants and Flowers.

Mikolajski is a popular figure among gardening enthusiasts, offering practical tips on plant care and garden design. He is a favourite with amateur and professional gardeners alike for his ability to explain complex horticultural concepts in simple terms.
