The Blessing of Church

In App anhören
God Is Real...Meet God at Church! All human beings depend so heavily on our senses of sight, touch, and smell that we struggle with accepting that God is real. Add that struggle to all the negative things that can happen in life and our default can be feeling lonely, tired, angry, greedy, and anxious among many other unwanted things. One remedy is people coming together, regularly and in person, to worship God together at church "not abandoning our own meeting together" (Hebrews 10:25). Attending church allows us an enriched experience of God's presence. Attending church allows us to physically enjoy the continuous reminder and affirmation that God is real and that He hears our prayers and can answer them. This assurance can move us to live a life of faith and thriving. Every human being wants to thrive, and ideally thrive today. Attending church is one thing people can do to thrive today. A factoid you should know... "Studies have shown that those who participate in religious services at least once a week are more optimistic and have lower rates of depression, and are less likely to commit suicide than those who don't. And these effects aren't slight. One large-scale study of U.S. women found that those who attended religious services at least once a week were five times less likely to kill themselves than those who never attended." (A new study by Harvard) The benefits of attending church are abundantly documented in this book. Read on... Alan Ryan. "As a child, I grew up in a home where we did not regularly attend church. However, as I grew older attending church became a regular part of my life and it blessed me and my family very far beyond what I could have ever imagined. Therefore, this book was written because I want others to enjoy similar blessings. Discover more at www.thrivetodayministries.org
