After his candy store closed in 1968, Dean Corll needed a new way to bring in young victims from the greater Houston area. So, he recruited two teenage boys to lure their friends to his apartment, where he would drug and kill them. While Corll initially paid his accomplices for each victim, one discovered he loved killing so much, he happily began working for free.
