Bieber, K. Lehmann-Hartleben, E.Jastrow, O. Brendel, K. von Fritz, E. Kapp, P. O. Kristeller, E. Abrahamsohn, E. M. Manasse, and P. Friedländer. In preparing the book, the author carried out painstaking original work in the archives of the most important aid organizations, universities, and literary estates of these emigrants and their supporters.
