For the first time, this volume presents an annotated edition of Le Coq’s letters to his scientific colleague Willi Bang Kaup, written between 1909 and 1914. It reveals Le Coq’s role in rediscovering Mani and reveals details of the world of archeological research in the years prior to the First World War.
